  • DOUGLAS TALKS RADIATION. Michael Douglas is speaking more about his cancer treatment, saying the radiation and chemotherapy is tiring him out. He told People magazine that it’s a fight, but one that he plans on winning. The 65-year-old actor is being treated for a tumor at the base of his tongue.
  • NO MORE HEIDI-SPENCER SEX TAPE! We can’t tell whether this is good or bad news, but TMZ is reporting there won’t be a Heidi Montag and Spencer Prattsex tape released anytime soon. In a letter Pratt wrote to Vivid Entertainment, he says Heidi has no interest in releasing the tapes and Spencer doesn’t want to further destroy his relationship with her.
  • MORE STARS TO STAND UP TO CANCER! George Clooney, Gwyneth Paltrow,Will Smith, Denzel Washington and Renee Zellweger have all signed on to be a part of the Stand Up to Cancer television fundraiser happening on September 10th at 8 PM Eastern on all the major broadcast networks. Jane Lynch,Elizabeth Banks, Emily Deschanel and Bill Hader have also been added to the already impressive list of celebrities involved in the telethon.
  • PARIS HILTON BANNED FROM VEGAS HOTELS! Paris Hilton has been banned from the Wynn and Encore resorts in Las Vegas. The ban comes after she was arrested Friday and charged with possession of cocaine. During her arrest, Hilton was taken inside the Wynn casino to go to the bathroom and that’s when the drugs were found in her purse.
  • PALIN AND JEWEL’S SKIT!  Jewel has released another video onFunnyOrDie.com.  It’s titled “Betwixt The Music” and in it, the singer tells the story behind a band she formed with Sarah Palin. Jewel insists before she made it big time, Sarah was part of her duo and played the flute. Jewel also mentions bizarre band names Sarah came up with and why constant touring led to the end of the legendary band. Check out the video at FunnyOrDie.com.
  • FULL HOUSE BABY! Full House actress Jodie Sweetin has a new baby.  On Tuesday, the 28-year-old gave birth to a baby girl she named Beatrix. This is Jodie’s second child, her first with boyfriend Morty Coyle. Read more atPeople.com.
  • LAW & ORDER: L-A UPDATE! Law & Order: SVU hottie Mariska Hargitay will make a guest appearance on the new Law & Order: Los Angeles show. According to E! News, her crossover storyline will revolve around “the backlog of untested rape kits” that are kept at many police stations. Check out the premiere of Law & Order: Los Angeles on NBC September 29th.
  • THE CLOSER! Kyra Sedgwick just won an Emmy for her portrayal of “Brenda” on The Closer. When she talked with us backstage after her win, she told us which female detectives inspired her when she was growing up.  See an all new episode of The Closer this Monday at 9 PM Eastern on TNT.
  • ACTOR’S STABBING TRIAL! The 40-Year-Old Virgin actor Shelley Malil, who plays an electronics clerk in the flick, is on trial for attempted murder. More details have come to light about Malil’s alleged actions and according to Peoplemagazine, the actor walked up to his ex-girlfriend two years ago in her backyard and started stabbing her repeatedly. Shelley’ girlfriend was stabbed more than 20 times, but survived, The 45-year-old actor has pleaded not guilty to the charges but if he’s convicted, he could face up to 21-years in prison.
  • KICK-ASS 2 GREEN LIT! It’s being reported that a sequel to the action flickKick-Ass has been given the green light. According to LatinoReview.com, excellent DVD sales for the first flick led to the decision.
