(Washington, D.C.) -- Members of Congress are concerned about the growing number of U-S troops killed in Afghanistan. The death toll in July was 66 -- the deadliest month since the war began more than eight years ago. Senator Amy Klobuchar says many people including the president are concerned about the strength of the Afghan government. Klobuchar says President Obama plans to start drawing down the number of U-S troops in Afghanistan next summer. She voted for 37-billion dollars in additional funding for the war -- but Representatives Keith Ellison, Betty McCollum and James Oberstar voted against it in the U-S House.
