(Undated)  --  Despite reports that Minnesota's economy is on the rise and the state has added eleven-thousand jobs in the past year, construction jobs are the exception.  David Semerad [[ sem-EH-rad ]], CEO of Associated General Contractors, says it's been a tough year for construction workers due to the continuing slide in jobs.  Semerad says it could be attributed to some major projects being completed, such as Target Field and T-C-F Bank Stadium.  He says there are some signs of hope -- including the increase in the gas tax and the constitutional amendment to dedicate vehicle sales taxes to transportation projects.
