The legal battle over ballot-counting in the Minnesota governor's race continues, with a hearing before the state Supreme Court possible on Monday.  Republican Party officials say they have evidence of precincts in Minnesota where more votes were cast than the number of recorded voters, and want the high court to order that vote totals be changed accordingly.  But Ramsey County election officials say Republicans' argument is "fundamentally flawed" because it relies on a state law that uses obsolete language -- and they say if current terminology is used, counties are following state law in the way they reconcile ballot totals.  The dispute probably needs to be resolved before the State Canvassing Board meets Tuesday to certify results of the governor election -- and presumably order a recount.
