Duluth residents who would like to be a part of a delegation to the sister city of Ohara-Usumi City, Japan can apply until next Monday. The trip is scheduled for October 6th through the 13th and will commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Duluth's Sister City relationship with Ohara-Usumi City. Executive Director of the Duluth Sister Cities International, Melissa Kadlec, says there are just a few spots remaining for the ten person delegation. The cost of the trip is about 2 thousand dollars and travelers also need a valid passport. Application forms are available at www.duluthsistercities.org and need to be returned by Monday, September 13th. Besides Japan, Duluth also has sister cities in Russia, Canada and Sweden.
