WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) A Wausau man will be in court next month after allegedly throwing his girlfriend out of a moving car on Third Avenue.
50-year-old Jesse Malik Sr. is charged with recklessly endangering safety. Bond was set at $2,500.
A police report says the car was traveling at about 15-miles-per-hour near the intersection of West Street when Malik shoved his girlfriend out the passenger-side door. He also ran the woman over, fracturing her right wrist. He drove her to Wausau Aspirus Hospital, but left before police arrived. He was found and arrested a short time later.
He'll enter a plea in Marathon County court on May 3.
