DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Motorists traveling on Interstate 35 in Duluth will encounter lane closures Tuesday, Feb. 7, and Wednesday, Feb. 8, while MP Nexlevel crews install fiber-optic conduit on the Garfield Avenue Bridge.  Traffic impacts are as follows, weather permitting:

 Tuesday, Feb. 7 – There will be lane closures on northbound I-35 from I-535 to north of Garfield Avenue beginning shortly after 9 a.m. Signs will direct motorists when to merge.

Wednesday, Feb. 8 – There will be lane closures on southbound I-35 from south of Fifth Avenue West to south of Garfield Avenue. Signs will direct motorists when to merge. All lanes will reopen by 3 p.m.
