DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth is beginning a year long centennial celebration with a kick-off weekend through Sunday. The deaf band "Beethoven's Nightmare" will perform Friday night at Somers Lounge from 7 to 11 p-m. A variety of outdoor activities are set for Saturday including snowshoeing, ice sculpture and hay rides. A special mass on Sunday will be followed by the unveiling of the Centennial Traveling Exhibit featuring highlights of the school's first one hundred years.
