SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - The last of four public meetings to present the WIsconsin Agriculture Department's gypsy moth treatment plan in northern Wisconsin is being held in Superior on Thursday. The meeting is from 5:30 to 7:30 p-m at the Superior Public Library. Counties slated to receive treatments this year include Douglas, Bayfield, Burnett and Sawyer. Selected areas in 22 Wisconsin counties will get aerial treatments to reduce the spread of the destructive insect that eats around 500 different species of trees and shrubs.
