Under The Hood® with the Motor Medics® has been on the air since 1990 taking live calls to help people better understand their vehicles saving them money. During the show they also answer listener email and talk about the latest industry news and trends. Often the Motor Medics® will announce recalls before they have been mailed to consumers in an effort to spread the word about safety. Everyone has a chance to join in the fun by calling 866-594-4150 each week.

Listeners can also interact with the show by emailing us any day of the week. They can do this from our web page or on facebook and twitter.

When you call the show using our toll free number you will be instructed to call Thursdays 9-11am Central time to get on the air live. Calls will air during the next show.

Russ “The Supertech” Evans was given the name by a caller during one of his first shows. Russ has a detailed automotive knowledge and often gives a down to the color of the wire accurate diagnosis with little information. Russ is an ASE Master Certified technician and has extensive factory drivability training. When not on the show Russ manages a full service automotive repair center.

Shannon Nordstrom is an ASE Parts Specialist and has a parts knowledge that is unmatched in the industry. Shannon’s quick wit and fun personality bring a welcome light heartedness to the program. When not on the show Shannon manages a large automotive recycling center.

Russ and Shannon were born just one day apart in the same year and have a connection on the show that keeps it fun and informative for anyone who has a car. Together they are…The Motor Medics®
