DULUTH, MN (CBS-3) – About 20 clients at Duluth’s The Hills Youth and Family Services Center were allegedly involved in a “riot” Monday night that ended with three staff members injured and four teens arrested.
According to the Duluth Police Department, they received the original report around 9 p.m.Police said a large group had barricaded themselves in a room and numerous smaller groups were roaming the building.
Three Woodland Hills staff members were injured during the incident but required no medical attention.
One 18-year-old male was arrested for Obstructing the Legal Process, and three other juveniles were arrested.
University of Minnesota Duluth Police, St. Louis County Sheriff, Minnesota State Patrol, and the Hermantown Police assisted Duluth Police during the incident.
