DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The City of Duluth and U-S Coast Guard has announced a new lift schedule for the Aerial Bridge that is effective now through December.
The bridge will lift on the hour and half hour between 7 a-m and 9 p-m, seven days a week.
The bridge will lift on request for vessels between 9 p-m to 7 a-m.
The bridge also lifts at all times for vessels in distress, those seeking shelter from severe weather, emergency or rescue operations and commercial vessels of 300 gross tons or larger.
The changes are being made to try and improve traffic flow in and around Canal Park and Park Point.
