DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth has named Dr. Barbara McDonald as its 13th president.
Dr. McDonald will begin her duties on August 5th and replaces Colette Geary who announced her departure in January to spend more time with her family.
McDonald comes from North Hennepin Community College where she served as president since 2015.
Christopher Dolan, chair of the St. Scholastica Board of Trustees, says Dr. McDonald is a visionary leader with the ability to forge productive relationships and build support for institutional goals.
