SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – The University of Wisconsin-Superior Center for Community Engaged Learning recently received a 21,500 dollar grant from the Menard’s Center for the Study of Institutions and Innovations.
The first use of that funding will allow students and staff to join elected officials and community leaders at the 35th Annual Superior Days event next week in Madison.
Ten UWS students will help lobby state legislators on issues important to Superior and northwestern Wisconsin.
UW-Superior is among a network of over 20 public and private universities and colleges promoting the civil and rational discussion of civil liberties.
