COOK, MN (KDAL) – A 61 year old snowmobile driver was airlifted to a hospital in the Twin Cities after colliding with a tree off a trail near Cook.
The accident was reported around 6:10 p-m on Thursday.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department says Randall Baudler was traveling east on the Arrowhead Snowmobile Trail, about two miles north of Highway 115, when he left the trail on a curve and hit a tree.
Baudler was evacuated from the trail by the Cook Ambulance Service to the Greenwood Township Fire Department.
From there the victim was taken by North Memorial Air Medical to the hospital in the Twin Cities with non-life threatening injuries.
