(Reuters) – A broad area of low pressure located about 700 miles (1,126.54 km) west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands has become better organized and has a 60% chance of becoming a cyclone in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Friday.
“A tropical depression is likely to form within a couple days while the system moves westward to west-northwestward,” the NHC said.
