(Reuters) – Tropical Storm Laura is forecast to strengthen into a major hurricane when it approaches the coasts of Texas and Louisiana by Wednesday night, the U.S National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Tuesday.
The storm is located about 765 miles (1,165 km) southeast of Lake Charles, Louisiana, with maximum sustained winds of 65 miles per hour (100 km/h), the NHC said.
