BEIRUT (Reuters) – Lebanon’s largest Christian bloc, the Free Patriotic Movement, will nominate the Lebanese ambassador to Germany Mustapha Adib as the country’s next prime minister, party leader Gebran Bassil told Reuters on Sunday.
Bassil said agreement had been reached to nominate Adib, who earlier on Sunday was also named as a candidate by the Future Movement led by main Sunni politician Saad al-Hariri.
