DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Minnesota Power is expanding their support of electric vehicles as part of their “Energy Forward” strategy to reduce carbon emissions.
This is National Drive Electric Week and Minnesota Power is proposing rebates for installing residential electric vehicle chargers and a reward program for those owning an electric vehicle (EV).
The company has also announced plans to switch much of its vehicle fleet to electric in the next ten years.
Minnesota Power will also be increasing the number of publicly available vehicle charging stations in this part of the state.
Joining installations in Duluth, Big Fork and Cloquet will be future charging stations in International Falls, Silver Bay and Biwabik.
