BERLIN (Reuters) – A senior German health official said on Thursday the trend of a slowing spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany could continue.
“I’m very optimistic that this will happen,” said Lothar Wieler, head of the Robert Koch Institute for infectious diseases.
