DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A building at 118 East 1st Street in Duluth is considered a total loss after a fire on Saturday morning.
The Duluth Fire Department responded after reports were received of smoke coming from the building.
Fire spread rapidly and was widespread in the building, a former antique store that was being used as a warehouse.
Much of the roof collapsed and firefighters turned their efforts to keeping the fire from spreading to an adjacent building.
Damages were estimated at a million dollars for the building and its contents.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
