WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal on Monday urged the administrator of the General Services Administration to begin the presidential transition process for President-elect Joe Biden.
In a letter dated Nov 23, the Massachusetts Democrat told GSA Administrator Emily Murphy that her unwillingness to move forward with the transition up to now had made her “complicit in an unprecedented challenge to our democratic norms” and had “endangered the lives and livelihoods of people across the nation.”
