UNDATED (KDAL) – Clocks will need to be set ahead one hour on Sunday as most of the country returns to Daylight Saving Time.
The move will keep daylight around longer in the evening but the sun will come up an hour later in the morning.
Several Senators have introduced a bill that would keep Daylight Saving Time in effect all year long.
Sixteen states have already voted to extend Daylight Saving Time but it would require a change at the federal level for it to take effect.
Unless such a bill would pass, a return to Standard Time will occur on November 7th.
