ASHLAND, WI (KDAL) – Following a single vehicle roll-over accident south of Ashland on Friday, a search of the area continues for the man who was driving.
According to the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, 32 year old Kevin Rosin of Odanah apparently left the scene of the crash and may have been disoriented.
Family members reported that Rosin did not return home that morning and no known contact has been made since the crash.
Rosin’s phone was found in the vehicle and initial reports indicate that alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
Many agencies including volunteers, K9 crews and aircraft have been involved in the search for Rosin who has not been located as of late Monday.
The Sheriff’s Office reminds citizens who are searching to respect private property and preserve fragile clues. Anything out of the ordinary should be left alone and reported to authorities.
Although the Sheriff’s Department commends the willingness of the community to help in the search, the terrain in the area is challenging and those without proper training, equipment and protective gear may need to be rescued themselves.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ashland County Communications Center at 715-682-7023.
