DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Pope Francis has named the Very Reverend Daniel Felton as the new Bishop for the Duluth Diocese.
A Wisconsin native, Bishop-elect Felton has served in the Green Bay Diocese since 2014 and has various degrees from St. Norbert College, St. John’s University and the Gregorian University in Rome.
Bishop-elect Felton will succeed the late Bishop Paul Sirba who died in December of 2019.
The episcopal ordination and installation of the Reverend Felton as Bishop of Duluth have been set for May 20th.
The Diocese of Duluth serves ten counties and 71 parishes in northeast Minnesota.
