DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Motorists will find more road and ramp closures as part of the Twin Ports Interchange project this week.
Starting Monday, lower Michigan Street will close from near 15th Avenue West to 23rd Avenue West until October.
Once it reopens, that section of Michigan Street will be used to carry southbound I-35 traffic through the fall of 2022.
Lane closures will occur on the Michigan Street bridge over Mesaba Avenue between 9 a-m and 3 p-m Monday.
On Tuesday, from 9 a-m to 3 p-m, right lane closures will be in effect at northbound Highway 194/Superior Street.
Caution is urged throughout the extensive project to replace the current can-of-worms over the next two years.
