DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A power outage, affecting 4300 Minnesota Power customers, left a large area of Duluth without power for about two hours on Wednesday morning.
Among those losing power around 6:35 a-m were portions of downtown, Canal Park, Denfeld, Piedmont Heights and the Central Hillside.
Crews restored power around 8:50 after repairs were made to a substation that was apparently damaged by a raven.
KDAL and all the other Midwest Communications stations located in the Tech Village downtown were knocked off the air by the outage.
