DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The final phase of the City of Duluth’s utility and street improvement project begins Tuesday and will impact Essentia Health traffic through early October.
The work will close portions of 5th and 6th Avenues East and re-route traffic on Third Street.
Fifth Avenue East will be closed from 3rd Street to 2nd Street except to cross the alley while entering the Essentia Green Parking Ramp.
Third Street will be closed to westbound traffic between 6th and 5th Avenues East.
Two-way traffic will be allowed on 3rd Street between 3rd and 5th Avenues East.
Since the project will affect Essentia patient drop-off and pick-ups, those with appointments should plan to arrive early.
