ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – The voting has begun in the 2022 MnDOT “Name a Snowplow” contest.
After receiving around 11 thousand name submissions, the list has been reduced to a final 50 for voting by the public.
Although the majority of the names are new this year, a few of the runners up from last year are also on the ballot.
Eight winning names will be selected, one for each MnDOT district, with winners announced in early February.
Among the names on the ballot are Betty Whiteout, Blizzard of Oz, Sir Plows-A-Lot, Catch My Drift and No Business Like Snow Business.
Find the complete list and vote for up to eight of your favorites at mndot.gov/nameasnowplow.
