DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The City Council has signed off on a list of priorities for Duluth during the upcoming Minnesota Legislative Session.
The top three are safeguarding the Local Government Aid program, securing funds for upgrades to Spirit Mountain and the Aerial Lift Bridge.
The City also supports efforts to advance a number of other issues and investments.
They include housing programs, establishing a customs facility, funds to redevelop and upgrade the Armory and funds to help remove and replace lead service lines.
Mayor Emily Larson says setting the priorities and getting unanimous approval of the council carries a lot of weight in St.. Paul.
The 2022 Legislative Session begins on Monday.
