DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Over the last month, the Minnesota Food Share Drive has proportionally matched donations to various food shelves around the state.
The Duluth Salvation Army food shelf is still short of their goal of 9 thousand dollars and 8 thousand pounds of food to continue providing meals to those in need. They need the community’s help to push them over the top.
Due to the rising costs for food, more families than ever are in need of the Salvation Army’s assistance.
To take advantage of the Food Share match, donations need to be made by the final day of the campaign on Sunday (April 10).
Financial donations can be made by mail or in person at 215 South 27th Avenue West in Duluth or online at DuluthSA.org
