SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – A Superior Middle School student was taken into custody by police after a threat was made to another student.
Superior Police say staff at the school received a “Speak Up, Speak Out” tip that the 12 year old student threatened to harm other students.
An investigation showed that the student showed another student a list of names that he intended to harm.
The student who made the threat admitted he did it to scare the student that he was showing the list to.
The suspect will be referred to Douglas County Health and Human Services on requested charges of terrorist threats and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
