DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The annual Kolar Toyota ALS Fishing Tournament is set for Saturday at Island Lake.
This is the 27th year of the event that has raised more than 3.8 million dollars to assist those living with ALS and research to help find a cause and cure for the disease.
Hosted by former Twin Kent Hrbek, who lost his father to ALS in 1982, the tourney features two separate competitions.
Besides the teams competing on Island Lake, there will be a virtual “open” competition where anglers can fish from anywhere.
