DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Several events are scheduled over the next two days to honor the lives and memories of Elias Clayton, Elmer Jackson and Isaac McGhie.
After being falsely accused of rape, the three men were lynched by a mob in downtown Duluth in 1920.
A graveside service will be held at 5 p-m Tuesday at the Park Hill Cemetery and a memorial program will take place at noon Wednesday at the Clayton-Jackson-McGhie Memorial on 1st Street at 2nd Avenue East.
Speakers and music will be featured at both events.
