DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Except for the north shore of Lake Superior, the entire region is expecting hot and humid weather on Monday.
The National Weather Service Office in Duluth has issued a Heat Advisory from 1 p-m Monday to 1 a-m on Tuesday.
Temperatures are forecasted to reach the low to mid 90’s with a heat index from 97 to 102 in the afternoon and evening.
High temps will remain in the 70’s and 80’s through the upcoming week with summer officially arriving on Tuesday.
To help prevent heat exhaustion or heat stroke, drink plenty of fluids, stay in air conditioned rooms if possible.
When outside, wear light weight, loose fitting clothing and take frequent breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
Children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles.
