DULUTH, MN (KDAL-CBS3) – The Duluth City Council on Monday night conducted a final round of interviews of the three candidates to fill the vacant 4th District seat.
The council then voted for Hannah Alstead to complete the term of Renee Van Nett who died of cancer last month.
Alstead said some of the key issues she wants to address in her district are infrastructure, affordable housing and building a safe and secure community.
At this time, she is unsure if she will seek election to the post in the future.
