DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Results from the latest survey of St. Louis County residents showed a good quality of life, a better cost of living than the national average and much higher recreational opportunities.
The survey packet was mailed to 2800 county residents with a 26 percent return rate, making the results statistically valid.
Overall confidence in St. Louis County government remained steady from the last survey in 2019.
When asked to rate the importance of various county services, the top three were protection of children and vulnerable adults from abuse and neglect, the enforcement of laws and prosecution of criminals and investment in County road infrastructure.
St. Louis County partnered with 4 other Minnesota counties to produce the survey from the National Research Center.
