DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The City of Duluth and the Hartley Nature Center are celebrating the completion of the Center’s building expansion and park improvements with a ribbon cutting at 4 p-m Monday.
The Nature Center added another 5 thousand square feet to the facility including additional classroom spaces, a public meeting room and an expanded office area.
More parking, better sidewalk connectivity and comprehensive signage and wayfinding were added to the park.
Funding for the project came from the Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission’s grant program and the City’s Park Fund.
