DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Several areas in northeastern Minnesota have Winter Weather Advisories posted and most of northwest Wisconsin is under a Winter Storm Warning from 6 a-m to midnight on Tuesday.
Parts of Douglas County could see 4 to 8 inches while 5 to 11 inches of snow is in the forecast for Bayfield, Ashland and Iron Counties.
The heaviest snowfall will be in the afternoon and evening hours with slippery roads and limited visibility making travel difficult.
Cook and Lake Counties in the Arrowhead of Minnesota and Pine County can expect 2 to 5 inches of snow from this system.
The Twin Ports are in line for 1 to 3 inches Tuesday along with dropping temperatures overnight and windy conditions on Wednesday.
