WRENSHALL, MN (KDAL) – A two vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 1 and County Road 4 south of Wrenshall has sent three people to the hospital.
The Carlton County Sheriff’s Department says a Ford Edge driven by 21 year old woman from Saginaw was westbound on County Road 4 and failed to stop at a stop sign hitting a southbound Subaru on County Road 1.
The 18 year old woman from Wrenshall who was driving the Subaru was airlifted to a hospital in Duluth.
The driver of the Ford Edge and an 11 year old passenger in the Subaru were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The condition of the victims is not known at this time.
The accident, reported at 6:45 p-m on Friday, March 24th, is under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol and Carlton County authorities.
