DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota Food Share March Campaign is winding down with Sunday, April 9th being the final day.
Donations made before then are proportionally matched and help re-stock food supplies at over 300 food shelves in the state.
The Duluth Salvation Army had a goal of nine thousand dollars and eight thousand pounds of food for the month but are now considerably short and need the community’s help in reaching those goals.
Monetary gifts are preferred since each dollar goes three times further than if you purchased the items at the store and gives them more flexibility to purchase the most in-demand items and perishable food such as meat, dairy and fresh produce.
Donations can be made by mail or in person at 215 South 27th Avenue West in Duluth 55806, by phone at 218-722-7934 or online at DuluthSA.org
