BERLIN (Reuters) – The German government is set to slightly raise its economic growth forecast for this year while also slightly lowering its prediction for next year, two sources told Reuters on Thursday.
In his spring projection, Economy Minister Robert Habeck expects a price-adjusted increase in gross domestic product of 0.4% for 2023, according to preliminary figures, Reuters learned from the sources.
An Economy Ministry spokesperson did not comment and said Habeck would present spring economic projections on April 26.
