WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The Justice Department plans on Tuesday to announce the first enforcement actions from its “disruptive technology” strike force, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan said on Twitter.
Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said in February that the new task force was a joint effort between her department and the U.S. Commerce Department, to safeguard American technology from foreign adversaries and other national security threats. The Justice Department plans a 10:30 a.m. EDT press conference, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
