DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Minnesota Power will be adding eight all-electric pickups to its vehicle fleet as they continue to switch a large portion to electric vehicles (E-V).
The company, based in Duluth, has set a goal of converting 50 percent of its light duty vehicles to electric by 2030.
A Minnesota Power spokesperson says electric vehicles are a key part of their clean energy transition to further reduce carbon emissions.
Minnesota Power also offers several programs to customers to make driving an electric vehicle more affordable. That includes E-V charger rebates, discounted charging rates and a network of public charging stations in northern Minnesota.
