NCHC play begins for these longtime rivals with what should be a doozy of a two-game series. North Dakota certainly did well for itself in a 5-2-1 run through non-conference, with losses coming to Minnesota and Boston University (the draw was against Minnesota State).
UMD is winless in four, yes, but drew with Minnesota in its last game. We’ll see what the Bulldogs learned through the “exceptionally difficult” portion of their non-conference slate.
North Dakota gets defenseman Keaton Pehrson back after a five-game absence. UMD’s lineup shows Luke Johnson in on the fourth line for Kyler Kleven, but no other changes from Saturday.
Matthew Thiessen vs Ludvig Persson.
