DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The City of Duluth’s Human Rights Commission is looking for nominations of individuals and businesses or organizations for the first-ever Duluth Human Rights Award.
The Chair of the Commission, Dr. Marsha Lue, says the award is a special way to recognize proactive engagement for the advocacy and support of human rights.
Human Rights Officer, Carl Crawford, says community members and businesses are already doing good work in support of the commission and the award would shine additional light on those that are human rights champions.
Submissions for nominations are being accepted through December 15th and recipients will be announced in January.
