(Reuters) – Television producer-writer Norman Lear, whose ground-breaking hit comedy shows such as “All in the Family” and “Maude” addressed social issues such as race and abortion that had rarely been seen on U.S. television, has died at the age of 101, the New York Times reported on Wednesday.
