DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) has awarded the City of Duluth’s Department of Workforce Development an 875 thousand dollar grant.
The Pathways to Prosperity grant will allow the Duluth agency to continue offering training for high-demand occupations.
The Career Pathways Training initiative is a partnership with SOAR Career Solutions, Duluth Adult Education, Lake Superior College and the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College.
The training assists job seekers to get the skills needed to connect with employment opportunities. The curriculums are designed with employer input and lead to occupations with high regional demand.
