DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Responding Duluth fire crews were able to rescue a woman and her two children from a bedroom window as their mobile home was burning on Wednesday night.
They were treated at the scene by Mayo Ambulance personnel and then hospitalized.
A dog and a cat were also rescued from the home, but two other dogs died from smoke inhalation.
The fire at Vintage Acres on Burger Drive in New Duluth destroyed the home with damages estimated at 150 thousand dollars.
The Red Cross is working to assist the family that was displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Duluth Fire Marshal’s Office.
