DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Duluth branch of the NAACP in holding their 50th annual Juneteenth Jamboree at the Hillside Community Center on Wednesday.
The celebration from 3 to 7 p-m will feature four free dinner options, Harbor Monster t-shirts for the first 250 kids, an obstacle course, bounce house and face painting.
There will also be over 40 community organizations providing information on their services.
Free haircuts will be available and Maurices is giving away free clothing.
Juneteenth is now a federal holiday that commemorates the 1865 abolition of slavery.
